Panathinaikos are the new sole leaders in the Greek Super League following Sunday’s 0-2 victory at Levadiakos.
Olympiakos, who shared the lead with Panathinaikos ahead of this round, dropped two points in the home match with Iraklis and Panathinaikos didn’t need to think twice to take advantage.
It did take ‘Pana’ until the 67th minute to open the scoring, and needed the help from Levadiakos keeper Nikos Karakostas who directed the ball into his own goal.
Former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse made it 0-2 with nine minutes to go at Levadias stadium.
Panathinaikos now lead the Greek league with 28 point from ten games, and are two points ahead of defending champions Olympiakos.
