Lazio striker Goran Pandev admits just how important it is to score a goal in the Rome derby.
Pandev says a goal against rivals Roma would be worth five when playing against other teams.
“Who could forget their first derby?! Paolo Di Canio was in the team and he feels the game in a very special way,” the Macedonian told Il Messaggero.
“It was incredible the way he fired you up and how emotional it was. This battle is everything. We are in good shape and you’ll see we will put in a great performance.
“I only scored one goal in the derby, it was last season. I can safely say a goal against Roma is worth five in any other game.
“That goal past the Giallorossi and my brace against Real Madrid were the most important goals of my career.”
