Tottenham midfielder Scott Parker insists his side are still capable of mounting a serious challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Harry Redknapp’s side missed the opportunity to move level on points with league leaders Manchester City after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

But Parker, who returned from injury to start against Mick McCarthy’s men, remains confident ahead of their trip to City next weekend.

“I think we can still win the title, definitely,” he said.

“We need to believe that we can win every game and then see where that puts us.”

“We have to enjoy this moment and obviously be happy where we are, keep enjoying it and get the best results.”

“We will quickly dust ourselves down from this game and we will go to Man City looking forward to it and hopefully get the three points.”

“It’s a big game and I am sure we will come out on the front foot looking to win.”

Roberto Mancini’s leaders will go five points clear of third-placed Spurs with a win against bottom-of-the-table Wigan Athletic on Monday.
