Paris Saint-Germain’s Javier Pastore has described fellow attacking midfielder Kaka as the player he most admired when he was growing up.
The former Palermo star says that he observed his fellow South American closely on TV and set out to emulate him.
“Kaka was always the player I idolised the most when I was a child,” Argentine Pastore told the club’s official website.
“I watched him play all the time in order to try and learn from him, to maximise my progress,” he added.
Brazilian Kaka has been constantly linked with a move to the French capital since the appointment of his former AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti as manager, though he remains a Real Madrid player for the time being.
