Paterson makes Huddersfield switch

Huddersfield Town have signed Jamie Paterson on a season-long loan from Championship rivals Nottingham Forest, according to Sky Sports.

The winger has been allowed to join up with the Terriers after falling out of favour at the City Ground over the past year.

He has started just four league games since the start of the 2014/15 campaign, but played for Forest sixty-six times in total scoring thirteen goals in all competitions.

Prior to his move to the City Ground, the twenty-three year old racked up over a hundred appearances for Walsall since making his senior professional debut in August 2010.

Chris Powell’s side are yet to win this season, taking three points from their opening five games – a tally which leaves them sitting in the relegation zone.

Their next game is at Cardiff City a week on Saturday and the away win can be backed at a price of 3/1.
