Alexandre Pato has agreed to move to Corinthians according to his agent, following speculation linking the attacker away from AC Milan.
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani was in Brazil during the Serie A winter trying to forge the Brazilian a transfer, and it looks like he was successful if the forward’s representative is to be believed.
“Pato has chosen Corinthians,” Gilmar Veloz told Sky Sport 24. “Since he decided to return to Brazil, Corinthians was the first choice.
“I understood Pato needed to leave to experience another club and he chose Corinthians. And Galliani understood his reasons.
“Corinthians have welcomed him well, and they are doing everything possible to help [Pato] settle in.
“There are still some details to be resolved between the two clubs. But it is not for me to speak what exactly they are.”
Robinho is another Brazilian at San Siro looking for a transfer in the January transfer window, but there have been no further developments for the former Manchester City and Real Madrid attacker.
