Pato talks up Milan exit

Milan forward Alexandre Pato has added fuel to speculations linking the Brazilian with a January exit from San Siro.

The 23-year-old was left on the bench in Milan’s crucial Champions League tie against Anderlecht, but he came on midway through the second half and scored the third goal in a 3-1 win in Brussels.

Nevertheless, the player was visibly disappointed with Max Allegri’s squad selection and even confirmed that he was thinking about leaving the Rossoneri.

“I will talk to my agent. I want a team where I can play,” Pato told Italian TV station Mediaset after the game in Belgium.

Milan have been pondering selling the player for quite a while now as the numerous injuries prevented the Brazilian from realizing his full potential at San Siro.

With the player also interested in leaving, there is every chance Pato will be sold in the January transfer window.

Since joining the club in a €22 million move from Internacional, the Brazil international has scored 51 goals in 117 Serie A appearances.
