From seventh place in the Premier League to twentieth could mark the end of Blackburn Rovers’ Paul Ince’s tenure as manager at Ewood Park.
The thought of a long period out of the Premier League of they were to be relegated at the end of the season might force the club to push the “eject†button before it becomes too late.
In Ince’s favour however is that after Liverpool’s visit to Ewood Park on Saturday they do have relatively easy matches against Wigan (away), Stoke (home) and Sunderland (away) where a good run of results could see them edge their way back up the table.
It is not certain though that the Blackburn Rovers Board are going to wait that long.
With Roque Santa Cruz indicating his intention to follow former manager Mark Hughes to Manchester City, the future of Paul Ince does look bleak.
