Bologna midfielder Michele Pazienza has insisted that he has no desire to leave the Serie A outfit.
The 30-year-old moved to the club last year from Juventus and signed a contract that is due to run until 2015.
However, his debut season saw him start just 11 games for Bologna last term in all competitions.
Despite that, Pazienza is determined to make amends in the coming season.
“I’ll certainly stay at Bologna,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “I’ll look to redeem myself after a difficult first campaign here.”
The pinnacle of Pazienza’s career came in the 2010-11 season when he found himself a regular for Napoli.
The defender started 34 games under Walter Mazzarri in that campaign, scoring one goal and setting up another two.
