Pedro Rodriguez is confident Barcelona can beat AC Milan in the Champions League quarter-final second leg at Camp Nou on Tuesday.
Holders Barcelona were held to a scoreless draw at in the first match at San Siro last week, and drew 2-2 at home to Milan in the group stages of the competition earlier this season.
Nevertheless, forward Pedro remains optimistic about his team’s chances of making it to the last four.
“We all believe that we can progress,” he told EFE.
“Milan have some great players and will definitely not make things easy for us. However, we are confident that we can put in a good performance with the help of our fans.
“They are a very tough opponent to beat, and they can always score a goal. But we are confident that we can qualify for the next round.”
Barca, who defeated Manchester United 3-1 at Wembley Stadium to lift the Champions League last season, are bidding to become the first team to retain the trophy in the Champions League era.
The last club to successfully defend their European crown was AC Milan in 1990.
