Juventus defender Federico Peluso says winning is all that matters to the Turin club and hailed coach Antonio Conte’s role in their success.
Juve went through unbeaten in Serie A last term as they beat AC Milan to the Scudetto and they sit atop the table this season as they aim to successfully defend their title.
“There’s the requirement to win every game at Juventus and it’s something you feel both in training and during the matches themselves,” Peluso told the club’s official website.
“I think the manager is the best at conveying this way of thinking to the team.”
Juve struggled to find their best form earlier this year, but they have returned to winning ways in recent weeks, much to the delight of Peluso.
“The Champions League win over Celtic gave us self-confidence. I don’t think the other games took the wind out of our sails. We’ve always had the right mentality,” he said.
“A difficult moment in the season is something that can happen and we’ve come through it.”
Juventus hold a six-point lead over Napoli in Serie A after the pair’s 1-1 draw at San Paolo on Friday.
