Bayern Munich striker Nils Petersen wants his future resolved as soon as possible, with Werder Bremen interested in signing him.

The former Energie Cottbus man moved to the Bavarian club last year but has been restricted in appearances since the transfer and is now being linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena

“I hope that the people in charge will be able to find a solution that benefits everybody,” the 23-year-old told Bild.

“I want to play in the Bundesliga, whether it’s in Bremen or Munich. I just need a chance to do so.”

Claudio Pizarro’s departure means Werder Bremen are in the market for a forward this summer.

Mario Mandzukic’s arrival at Bayern Munich also means that Petersen is likely to move further down the pecking order, which has fuelled rumours of him leaving the club.
