Miralem Pjanic believes Roma’s improved performances in recent weeks serves as evidence the club are ‘heading in the right direction’.

Roma initially struggled to find their best form this season, but they have climbed to fifth spot in the Serie A table after collecting maximum points from their last four games, while also booking their place in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia.

“We are satisfied with what we have done so far and must keep this up. We have two more games before Christmas and have to remain focused,” former Lyon star Pjanic was quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Winning games helps you to win even more. We are heading in the right direction and the other teams will start fearing us a bit.

“We respect our opponents, but we’re confident that we’re on the right track.”

Roma resume Serie A action away to Chievo on Sunday.
