Platini is an idiot…City have spent a small percentage of what other teams have spent on their teams…Mun Ure are 750 million quid in debt and still spending 30 million on one player…is that right?
And has he not looked at Citys youth system?…probably one of the most, if not the most successful in terms of getting first team players through from a young age!!???
Wright Phillips, Ireland, Richards, Johnson, Onouha, Evans, Sturridge, Schmiecel, Weiss, and more still coming through.
As it stands at least 23 players have come through and played for the first team from our youth set up. PLATINI-SHUT UP, YOU’VE NO IDEA WHAT YOU’RE ON ABOUT!!!

Ridiculous. There’s no way they could legislate this in a free market. The only way M. Platini’s plans could come to fruition is if they could settle some kind of condition of playing in the Champions League. All that would happen then is that the big (and rich) clubs would resign and form their own league.

Platini should not be interferring at all.
Where was he when teams like Juventos (backed by Fiat) were spending vast sums.
Why not criticise M. Unt when they purchase (poach!) players from West Ham.
This seems to have kicked off because it’s a new kid on the block…
