Liverpool have accepted an undisclosed bid for out-of-favour winger Jermaine Pennant from Portsmouth, the FA Cup holders announced on Friday.
Pennant, who cost Liverpool 6.7 million pounds, had attracted interest from Real Madrid and AC Milan but Portsmouth now appear the favourites to sign the former Arsenal and Birmingham player.
