FC Porto are hot on the trail of Midtjylland winger Pione Sisto, Danish media outlet Ekstra Bladet can reveal.
The Dragons had been keeping close tabs on the 20-year-old footballer from the very start to the season, and have now decided to make their interest concrete as the youngster proved his fitness after missing five months through injury.
Porto are currently in talks with the Danish side as they hope to lure Sisto to Estadio do Dragao in the summer.
The talented footballer is already regarded one of Denmark’s hottest prospects and he helped Midtjylland win their first ever league title this term, scoring 8 goals in 18 appearances.
Sisto scored a hat-trick on his debut for Denmark Under-21 side, while he was recently cleared to represent the senior squad having been born in Uganda.
The youngster is widely tipped to leave Midtjylland for greener pastures this summer and FC Porto appear to be leading the chase at the moment, although Arsenal and Juventus are showing interest as well.
