Porto line up Danilo replacement

Portuguese giants are in the market for a right-sided defender after agreeing to sell Danilo to Real Madrid, Record can reveal.

And while Ricardo Pereira and Daniel Opare are also capable of covering for the Brazilian, chances are that the Dragons will again be shopping in Brazil.

According to Record, Marcos Rocha and Mayke Rocha da Oliveira have been identified as possible reinforcements.

The former is a much more experienced player, having made more than 150 top flight appearances for Atletico Mineiro, while also earning two Brazil caps.

Meanwhile, Mayke helped Cruzeiro lift the league title last term and he has hinted he is ready to move to European football. The 22-year-old has so far made 52 league appearances for the Brazilian giants.

Summer recruit Daniel Opare had been signed as a potential replacement for Danilo, but he has failed to prove his worth and is currently struggling for playing time during a loan spell with Besiktas.
