Portuguese giants FC Porto are on the lookout for a new centre forward, A Bola has revealed.

The Dragons are set to stay without Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, who is close to returning to Boca Juniors, meaning that youngster Andre Silva will remain the only back-up to Vincent Aboubakar.

This is hardly a perfect scenario, meaning that FC Porto coach Julen Lopetegui has requested the club officials to try and sign a new centre forward.

Having hit the nail on the head with Lisandro Lopez, Radamel Falcao and Jackson Martinez, the Dragons will again turn their attention to the South American market, although they have yet to draw up a list of potential targets.

FC Porto have just climbed to the top of the league standings and they will want to remain there come end of the season.

Star striker Vincent Aboubakar has done fairly well this season, scoring 6 goals in 13 league outings, while netting another three times in the Champions League.
