Kevin Nolan and Jack Collison were on target as West Ham beat Bournemouth 2-0 in their latest pre-season match on Saturday.
The Premier League side were without Andy Carroll (heel) and George McCartney (knee) through injury but still produced a confident performance to see off their Championship opponents.
It took them just nine minutes to open the scoring as James Collins teed up Guy Demel, who crossed from the right for Nolan to power home a header.
The second goal arrived in first-half injury time when, with Bournemouth looking for a foul, Collison beat the offside trap before rounding the goalkeeper to score.
West Ham included trialist midfielder Orlando Engelaar in their line-up, with the Netherlands international coming off the bench in the second half.
The 33-year-old has been capped 14 times during a career that has seen him represent NAC Breda, Racing Genk, Twente, Schalke and PSV.
