Swansea put 10 goals past Haaglandia in the penultimate game of their tour of the Netherlands at Laakkwartier Football Club on Wednesday.

The Premier League club had been scheduled to play NAC Breda but the Eredivisie club pulled out for safety reasons and were replaced by third-tier opposition.

Michael Laudrup’s side, fresh from victories over Gravenzande and Excelsior, were watched from the sidelines by prospective new signing Wilfried Bony.

The tone was set after 18 minutes as Michu converted from close range after Angel Rangel’s effort had struck the bar.

New arrival Jonjo Shelvey laid on the second for the Spaniard three minutes later before grabbing one for himself.

Rangel and Nathan Dyer got in on the act before the interval to make it 5-0 to the visitors.

Laudrup made nine changes for the second half but the pattern of the game remained the same, with Pablo Hernandez’s back-post header extending Swansea’s advantage.

Kenji Gorre converted the seventh from close range before Irish striker Rory Donnelly took centre stage with a hat-trick in the last 21 minutes to clock up double figures.
