Premier League rivals set to battle for Ince

Crystal Palace are set to face a battle to secure a permanent deal for Tom Ince at the end of the season, according to the Mirror.

The 22 year old moved to Selhurst Park on loan from Blackpool during the January transfer window, and his contract with the Championship strugglers is set to expire in the summer.

Palace are keen to keep hold of the England U21 international, but will face stiff competition from Premier League rivals Everton, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

He has made five appearances for Tony Pulis’ side, and scored on his debut – a 3-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion back in February.

The Eagles beat Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon to move seven points clear of the relegation zone, and now look set to avoid dropping back down to the Championship after just one season for the first time since the inception of the Premier League.
