Premiership clubs battle for Bulthuis

Dutch newspaper Voetbal International is reporting that a number of Premier League sides are showing interest in Utrecht defender Dave Bulthuis.

The talented full-back has been in scintillating form this season and his promising showings did not go unnoticed.

According to Voetbal International, the player could be leaving his current club for greener pastures in the summer transfer window.

Eredivisie giants Feyenoord are believed to be readying bid for Bulthuis, but Fulham and Stoke are also keen.

The 22-year-old has just over a year left on his deal at Stadion Galgenwaard and is, therefore, likely to be available at a cut-back fee in the summer.

Bulthuis, who can also play as a centre-back, has spent his entire career at Utrech, but it appears he is now looking for a new challenge.

The left-back has done really well this season, scoring 3 goals and producing 2 assists in 25 Eredivisie matches.
