Radio Monte Carlo understands that four of England’s top clubs are considering a summer bid for QPR striker Loic Remy.

The Frenchman has impressed during the loan spell at Newcastle, but he is highly unlikely to remain at St James’ Park beyond the current season.

A return to Loftus Road does not seem on the cards either, even if QPR manage to win the promotion play-offs.

According to Radio Monte Carlo, the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool are currently in the race for his signature.

All four clubs will have their scouts present when the Magpies face Arsenal later today, and his suitors are expected to step up their interest in the coming weeks.

The Gunners have been made 1/4 favourites to win tonight’s clash, while Remy is available at 3/1 to score anytime.

Porto close on French starlet

French daily newspaper L’Equipe understands that FC Porto are stepping up their efforts to sign winger Yeni N’Gbakoto from Metz.

The talented midfielder has been in stunning form over the past two seasons, helping the club secure back to back promotions and return to the elite division.

And it appears his impressive displays did not go unnoticed as the latest reports suggest FC Porto are hot on the trail of the 22-year-old.

According to L’Equipe, the Dragons have all but agreed to sign the player in the summer transfer window.

Yeni N’Gbakoto is the product of club’s famous youth academy and he has already amassed 113 league appearances for Metz.

He has been especially impressive this season, having bagged 12 goals in 33 Ligue 2 fixtures to help the club secure promotion to Ligue 1 with four games to go.

Arthur Boka agrees Malaga switch

La Liga side Malaga have agreed to sign Ivorian defender Arthur Boka from Stuttgart, the player’s agent has revealed.

The 31-year-old’s contract at Mercedes-Benz Arena is due to expire in June and it is now clear he will be leaving the Swabians as a free agent.

Sport Bild has revealed Boka has agreed a two-year deal with Malaga, and this has been confirmed by one of the defender’s representatives.

“Arthur also received inquiries from Bundesliga, but he has opted for a new challenge in a top European league,” agent Rusmir Dzebic explained to Sport Bild.

Arthur Boka has spent last eight years at Stuttgart, having joined from Strasbourg back in 2006 and he won the Bundesliga trophy in his first season at the club.

The Ivory Coast international has made a total of 152 Bundesliga appearances for the Swabians and scored 5 goals.
