Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has rubbished talk that goalkeeper Mattia Perin is on his way to AC Milan.

The 20-year-old has been in impressive form while on loan at Pescara this season, and has been linked with a move to the Serie A giants.

Preziosi had dinner with AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani but said it was just a friendly get together.

“We didn’t talk about transfers. It was just a meal between friends,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“Perin to Milan? The boy now needs to be left in peace so that he can show people what he can do. We’ll see what happens in the future.”

Another player linked with a Genoa exit is Juraj Kucka, but Preziosi is adamant nobody will be on the way out as his club look to stave off relegation.

“We cannot possibly sell anyone this month because we need to stay up and we cannot weaken the squad,” he said.
