Primus has Portsmouth future

Portsmouth manager Tony Adams says Linvoy Primus still has a future at the club.

The 35-year-old has just returned to Fratton Park, following a loan spell at Charlton.

“Linvoy trained yesterday morning so he’s back in the frame,” Adams told The News.

“I don’t think he’s fit enough to actually be playing, that was his first training session.

“It’s lovely to have him around the place again, that’s what we need, we need Portsmouth people who want to play for Portsmouth.

“The squad is tight anyway.

“It’s a good squad but it’s not 50 players.

“In recent weeks I’ve had Marc Wilson at right-back so there are good opportunities here for people who want to come and play.”
