PSG agree deal for Pepe

Spanish media outlet Marca understands that Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement to sign Portuguese defender Pepe from Real Madrid.

We reported few weeks ago that the veteran stopper had become a target for the Saints, who have since managed to persuade the 34-year-old to move to Parc des Princes.

According to reports, Pepe has agreed a two-year contract with PSG and he arrives on a free transfer from Real Madrid.

The Saints believe that the stopper’s leadership abilities will help the team finally mount a serious title challenge in the UEFA Champions League and they are convinced the Portugal international can still perform at the highest level.

After spending last ten years with los Blancos, Pepe is set to embark on a new challenge and attempt to finish his career in style.
