Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez is on the verge of sealing a move to Paris Saint-Germain according to Yahoo Sports France.
Having brought Unai Emery as their new coach and securing a deal for Sevilla’s Grzegorz Krychowiak, French champions have set their sights on Colombia international who is in line to become their first marquee signing this summer.
Rodriguez’s agent Jorge Mendes is reportedly already in advanced talks with PSG over a potential move that would see James Rodriguez move to Parc des Princes. No agreement has been reached yet, but it appears that the player himself is keen on moving to Paris.
James Rodriguez has lost his place in the team under Zinedine Zidane as he struggled with weight issues and poor form, while his attitude has also fanned the flames of transfer rumours in the closing stwges of the last season.
The 24-year-old Colombian has made 26 appearances last term with only 17 starts and he has also scored 7 goals in the process.
