PSG end Tremoulinas chase

French giants Paris Saint-Germain have puled out of the race to sign Sevilla defender Benoit Tremoulinas, according to L’Equipe.

The Saints were planning to recruit a left-back in the summer transfer window, mostly because Lucas Digne had failed to prove his worth at Parc des Princes.

And PSG were keen on signing Sevilla full-back Benoit Tremoulinas, but have now decided to end their interest, having found the asking price too high.

At the same time, Lucas Digne has started showing promise during pre-season and now the Saints may not even recruit a new left-sided defender this summer.

Benoit Tremoulinas did well to revive his career during a loan spell with Bordeaux, before leaving Dynamo Kiev for Sevilla last summer.

The 29-year-old then largely impressed playing for los Rojiblancos in Spain and Europe, and he even managed to play himself back into the first team plans of France coach Didier Deschamps.
