PSG join chase for Reus; Benfica keen on Hertha starlet

hot-transfer-newsPSG join chase for Reus

Radio Monte Carlo is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are considering a summer move for Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus.

With both Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani being linked with a move away from Parc des Princes, the Saints aim to recruit a high-profile forward in the summer.

And according to Radio Monte Carlo, the French giants have made Marco Reus their primary target.

The Germany hotshot will be available for mere €25 million at the end of the season, but the problem is that Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also keen.

Marco Reus, 25, has so far resisted temptation to leave Signal-Iduna Park, but with Borussia largely struggling this season he appears ready for a new challenge.

The Millionaires still sit in the Bundesliga relegation zone, but they can be backed at 4/1 for a top 4 finish.

Benfica keen on Hertha starlet

German media outlet Bild is reporting that Portuguese giants Benfica are among clubs showing interest in Hertha midfielder Hany Mukhtar.

The Eagles are always on the lookout for young and talented players who are available at a reasonable price and they seem to have set their sights on the 19-year-old footballer.

However, Benfica will face competition for the player’s signature from Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Koln and Karlsruher, according to the latest reports.

The talented midfielder is almost certain to leave Hertha given that his current deal is due to expire at the end of the season.

Muhktar has shown a great deal of promise after coming through the youth ranks at Olympiastadion in Berlin and he has so far made 17 league appearances for the club.

Nevertheless, he has failed to play in a single Bundesliga fixture this season, while mostly featuring for the reserve side.

Lille hot on the trail of Skuletic

French daily newspaper L’Equipe has suggested that Ligue 1 outfit Lille are keeping close tabs on Partizan Belgrade striker Petar Skuletic.

It is no secret les Dogues are in the market for a new centre forward, with the team having scored mere 14 goals in 17 league matches this season.

And while Lille were previously linked with Lisandro Lopez and Nene, they appear to be taking a closer look at Serbian forward Petar Skuletic.

Les Dogues have been impressed with the 24-year-old having watched him on several occasions this season, but they do not appear ready to match Partizan’s asking price.

According to L’Equipe, the Serbian giants value the striker somewhere between €3 million and €4 million.

Petar Skuletic has been in scintillating form this season, bagging 14 goals in 15 league appearances, while netting five times in ten European matches.
