PSG keen on Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Spanish media outlet OK Diario is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on Barcelona shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

The Saints are not exactly satisfied with Kevin Trapp’s performances and they may decide to recruit a new number one.

While Salvatore Sirigu is widely expected to leave, France international Alphonse Areola is expected to challenge the German for the number one spot.

However, OK Diario claims that PSG hope to bring Marc-Andre ter Stegen from Barcelona to Parc des Princes, with the Germany starlet clearly unhappy by the lack of playing time at Camp Nou.

The 24-year-old is far from happy at playing second fiddle to Claudio Bravo and chances are he would be tempted by the possibility of joining the French champions.

Ter Stegen made mere 7 La Liga appearances in two years at Camp Nou, but he featured in 15 Copa del Rey matches and 23 Champions League fixtures.
