PSG keen on Wendell

Le 10 Sport has learned that Paris Saint-Germain are considering a summer bid for Bayer Leverkusen full-back Wendell.

The Saints are already preparing for next summer, when they will stay without several important footballers, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ezequiel Lavezzi and Maxwell all expected to leave.

They are currently searching for a long-term replacement for the Brazilian defender and it appears that one of his compatriots has emerged as the primary target.

Namely, PSG are keeping close tabs on Bayer Leverkusen starlet Wendell, and they have already decided to try and lure him to Parc des Princes.

The Saints will wait some more before opening talks with the player’s employers, as they have plenty of time ahead of the summer transfer window.

Having continued the impressive run of results with a 2-0 triumph over Shakhtar Donetsk, Paris Saint-Germain are available at 2/9 to see off Lyon in Ligue 1 on Sunday evening.
