PSG keeper in talks with Premiership side

French media outlet L’Equipe is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Nicolas Douchez is negotiating a deal with an unnamed Premier League club.

Seeing that he is currently behind Kevin Trapp and Salvatore Sirigu in the pecking order, the 35-year-old is looking to quit Parc des Princes in the winter transfer window.

According to L’Equipe, Douchez has visited a Premier League club facilities in London as said EPL outfit aim to recruit an experienced goalkeeper in January.

The veteran keeper faces a race against time to secure a move away from PSG, considering that Salvatore Sirigu also wants out and only one of them will be allowed to leave.

Nicolas Douchez has only made a total of 10 Ligue 1 appearances for the Saints since joining on a free transfer from Rennes in July 2011.

With the Ligue 1 trophy already in the bag, Paris Saint-Germain are 14/1 chance to lift the Champions League title as well.
