PSG in new assault on Lacazette

French media outlet Le 10 Sport has suggested that Paris Saint-Germain are readying a new bid for Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette.

With Edinson Cavani reportedly unhappy at Parc des Princes, the Saints are on the lookout for his replacement and les Gones hotshot appears to be the first name on their wish list.

PSG officials have been largely impressed with Lacazette’s performances over the last year or so and they are expected to submit an official proposal either in January or in the summer.

Lyon will obviously give their best to keep hold of their star player, but chairman Jean-Michel Aulas would have problems rejecting a big money bid given club’s poor financial situation.

After bagging 15 goals in 36 league outings last term, Lacazatte has already scored 8 league goals this season.

Having defeated leaders Marseille last night, Lyon can be backed at 6/5 to see off free-scoring Nice on the road.
