PSG ponder Ribery bid

German newspaper Sport Bild understands that Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a January bid for Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery.

Despite spending almost €150 million on new players in the summer, the French giants are expected to add at least few more quality players in January.

Paris Saint-Germain have already agreed to sign Lucas Moura from Sao Paulo, while Sport Bild claims they are also weighing up move for Franck Ribery.

Club owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi recently confirmed interest in the French winger, and the Saints could test Bayern’s resolve with an official bid in January.

Given that Ribery has three years left on his deal at Alianz Arena, it is believed PSG owners would have to delve deep into their pockets if they want to sign the France international.

Since joining the club from Olympique Marseille in July 2007, the 29-year-old has scored 45 goals in 133 Bundesliga appearances for the Bavarians.
