PSG set to sign Julian Draxler

Radio Monte Carlo is reporting that French giants Paris Saint-Germain are on the verge of completing a deal for Wolfsburg star Julian Draxler.

The Saints have reportedly agreed personal terms with the player, while they are close to finding common ground with the Wolves as well.

While PSG’s initial €30 million proposal was €10 million short of Wolfsburg’s valuation, the Wolves are ready to sell their prized asset and the transfer should be wrapped up in the coming days.

Julian Draxler was looking to leave his current employers for greener pastures and while Juventus and Arsenal were in the mix as well, the Saints were the first side to submit a suitable offer.

The attacking midfielder has struggled for form this season after impressing at the Euro 2016 finals, but it is clear that the lack of motivation was the main reason for under-par displays, and he can be trusted to quickly return to his best.
