PSG to cash in on Draxler

French daily newspaper L’Equipe claims that Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to offload Julian Draxler in the summer transfer window.

The Saints need to improve the financial situation after splashing out €222 million on Neymar, and after agreeing to sell Blaise Matuidi, the Germany hotshot could be the next high-profile player to leave.

PSG sporting director Antero Henrique has informed the midfielder’s agents of their plans and Draxler was subsequently offered to Barcelona.

The Catalans may decide to make a move on the 23-year-old if they fail in their pursuit of Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele.

Draxler made 17 Ligue 1 appearances for the Saints after arriving from Wolfsburg in January 2017, scoring 4 goals in the process.
