PSV Eindhoven have announced the capture of Jeffrey Bruma and Florian Jozefzoon from Chelsea and RKC Waalwijk respectively.
Netherlands international Bruma arrives in the Eredivisie after making just one league start for Chelsea and spending the last three seasons out on loan at Leicester and Hamburg.
Bruma made 18 appearances for Hamburg in the Bundesliga last season as they finished seventh in the league, but with no permanent move on the table, the 21-year-old has chosen to move to PSV for regular first-team football, signing a four-year contract at the Philips Stadion.
Jozefzoon scored seven goals in his debut season for Waalwijk, having signed for the club from Ajax in 2012, finishing second in the club’s goalscoring charts behind Teddy Chevalier. That form was enough to convince PSV to move for the midfielder and he will sign a three-year contract, with the option to extend for a further year, once he returns from international duty with the Netherlands Under-20 side.
Both players will undergo medicals with the club before joining their new team-mates and head coach Phillip Cocu for pre-season training in early July.
Technical director Marcel Brands told the club’s official website: “They are talented players with all the necessary experience.
“Jeffrey is 21 years, Florian 22 years, footballers that PSV can still get a lot out of.
“They fit the philosophy that PSV have, the best Dutch talent in the ranks along with talents from their own academy.”
