Eredivisie outfit PSV have secured the services of Blackburn Rovers defender Andre Ooijer. The experienced defender has an expiring contract at the Lancashire side and will leave the club on a Bosman move. PSV’s director Jan Reker has now made it clear that Ooijer will indeed leave the Rovers for Dutch giants this summer.
“Ooijer has already signed a contract at PSV. He only needs to undergo a medical test and that will happen at the end of this campaign,” said Reker to De Telegraaf.
The 34-year-old Holland international joined Blackburn Rovers from PSV in 2006 and quickly developed into an important first team member.
