(GSM) – PSV Eindhoven are at great risk of losing their top spot in the Dutch Eredivisie after suffering their first defeat of the season at NAC Breda.

Things began as usual for Fred Rutten’s men as midfielder Orlando Engelaar put PSV in the lead on 18 minutes, but hosts NAC levelled through Donny Gorter in the 35th.

And with about 18 minutes left to go at Rat Verlegh stadium, Robbert Schilder even netted a winning goal for the home team.

As such, PSV could well lose their lead to FC Twente who are only one point behind and visit last-placed RKC Waalwijk on Sunday.

AZ Alkmaar confirmed to have reconquered their old form with a 4-1 win over SC Heerenveen. The visitors did take the lead through Filip Djuricic in the 20th minute but goals from Maarten Martens, Mounir El Hamdaoui, Jeremain Lens and Brent Holman led Dick Advocaat’s AZ to a comfortable victory.
