(GSM) – PSV kept pressure on FC Twente this Saturday as the Eindhoven outfit earned a professional victory over relegation candidates ADO Den Haag.

Mexican Maza Rodiguez put Fred Rutten’s PSV in the lead after 16 minutes at Philips stadium and Finnish forward Ola Toivonen made it 2-0 one minute after the hour.

PSV are now three points ahead of Twente, who face a tough task at third-placed Ajax on Sunday.

The most spectacular match of the day took place in Almelo where Heracles came from 1-3 down to beat FC Groningen 4-3. The winning goal was scored by Birger Maertens in the 89th minute, at which point Groningen already had two players sent off.
