Barcelona defender Carles Puyol hopes his team face AC Milan in the Champions League round of 16.
The Catalans finished ahead of Celtic, Benfica and Spartak Moscow to secure top spot in Group G, while AC Milan ended up second in their Champions League group.
Spain international Puyol has set his sights on a knockout tie against the San Siro giants.
“We don’t care who our next rival is, but you know that I like to play against Milan because I admire that team,” Puyol told the club’s website.
The experienced defender urged his team-mates to shift their focus to domestic action again after Wednesday’s scoreless draw against Benfica, with Barca’s next match against Real Betis on Sunday.
“In any event, now we have to focus on La Liga and the Copa del Rey again,” Puyol said.
