QPR settle FFP dispute

Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that they’ve reached an agreement to settle their ongoing dispute with the EFL regarding Financial Fair Play rules. The Championship club have come to a settlement deal believed to be worth £41.965 million, and in addition to that, they’ve been given a transfer embargo that will last until January 2019.

QPR are a club that have always caused some controversy with their spending, and despite two promotions to the Premier League in recent times, they haven’t quite been able to establish themselves as a consistent top-flight side. Now that this issue is out of the way, many fans will be hoping that they can finally get back to focusing on what’s happening on the pitch.

QPR’s Championship season will begin next weekend when they face off against Preston North End, in a game which could showcase what we should be expecting of them throughout the course of the campaign.
