A report from Mirror Football suggests that Queens Park Rangers are still keen on signing Peter Odemwingie in this January transfer window, despite having a £2 million bid rejected by West Bromwich Albion.

The Baggies value their striker at around £6 million, so the offer needs to be seriously increased if they are to think about selling the goal-scorer.

It is thought that West Brom have also turned down a bid from QPR for their defender, Jonas Olsson. It seems as though Harry Redknapp wants to bring in a lot of new faces to his squad as they try and fight the drop in the English Premier League.

Loic Remy looks like joining at Loftus Road and Rennes midfielder Yann M’Villa could join him soon as the Ligue 1 player wants to play in the English top flight.

But Redknapp will not stop there and Odemwingie looks like being his other big target this month. The Nigerian has scored goals at this level consistenty for a number of years, and that is just what QPR need right now – goals.

There are some big stories coming out of Loftus Road and this is certainly one for you to keep an eye on.
