Quaresma delighted with Inter debut

Ricardo Quaresma admits it was emotional and exhilarating to make his debut for Inter Milan in last nightÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s friendly.

Quaresma joined the Nerazzurri for Ã‚Â£25m from Porto on Monday and made his debut in the 2-2 draw with Lucerne on Friday.

Ã¢â‚¬Å“It was so emotional and exhilarating to pull on the Nerazzurri shirt for the first time,Ã¢â‚¬Â he told the official club website.

Ã¢â‚¬Å“I worked well with my new teammates and it was a good test on a tough pitch made worse by the driving rain.

Ã¢â‚¬Å“I am happy to have played for 90 minutes, but still need to work hard to find the right rhythm with my colleagues and get accustomed to the tactical systems.Ã¢â‚¬Â

Inter were 2-0 down, but with goals by Ivan Cordoba and Julio Cruz in the final 15 minutes of the match they were able to get a draw against the Swiss side.

Quaresma added: Ã¢â‚¬Å“WeÃ¢â‚¬â„¢re happy that we were able to get the game back on track.Ã¢â‚¬Â
