Porto winger Ricardo Quaresma will sign for Inter today, according to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter boss Jose Mourinho has made it clear that he would like the club to sign Quaresma.
“He (Mourinho) did ask directors Marco Branca and Lele Oriali for him, yes,†President Massimo Moratti told Corriere dello Sport earlier this week.
“The lad would certainly be useful for our style of play, but Mourinho knows full well that we cannot sign Quaresma until we sell someone else.â€Â
La Gazzetta dello Sport says the two clubs agreed on a deal last night after the Champions League draw in Monaco.
It is believed Inter will pay around 20 million euros for Quaresma. The Portuguese winger is expected to sign a four-year contract that will see him earn around 3 million euros a year.
