Bayern Munich came back from behind to secure a draw with Lyon, allowing them to maintain their first place in Group F. Fiorentina and Steaua failed to score.
The Germans conceded a goal after 25 minutes as the unfortunate Martin Demichelis put the ball behind his own goalkeeper Rensing to give their French guests a 0-1 lead.
But the home side would equalise through Zé Roberto, seven minutes into the second half.
Fiorentina and Steaua Bucharest forgot to score in Firenze, and remain in third and fourth place respectively.
Bayern lead with four points from two games, and Lyon are second with the same amount of points as Fiorentina, but the French scored more goals.
