A single goal from Didier Drogba was enough to earn Premiership side Chelsea a 1-0 win over Juventus in the first leg of their round of sixteen tie.

Just 12 minutes had been played at London’s Stamford Bridge when Ivory Coast striker Didier Droba gave Chelsea a 1-0 lead.

Fellow countryman Salomon Kalou played a great reverse pass that went right through Juventus’ defense. Drogba collected and shot past keeper Gianluigi Buffon.

Juventus will now have to take major risks if they want to beat Chelsea in the return leg, to be played in Turin on March 10th.
