Sergio Ramos believes that Gareth Bale is a perfect fit for Real Madrid and hopes the Wales international moves to the club.
Bale has been in sparkling form this season, scoring 26 goals in all competitions as Tottenham narrowly missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification.
Long-serving Madrid defender Ramos has watched the 23-year-old PFA Player of the Year from afar and reckons he has all the attributes required to be a hit at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“Gareth Bale is a Real Madrid-quality signing,” he told The Sun. “He has had an exceptional season.
“He can punish any team in the world and has the footballing qualities we look for in Madrid.
“I am sure Madrid will not be the only team that want to sign him — but he is the right mould for us.”
Bale has been in contract talks with Tottenham to extend his stay past 2016, when the current deal expires.
