FIFA and UEFA will never allow replay because it would level the playing field and destroy the hierarchies topped by the super clubs like Man United, AC Milan, Real Madrid, etc. I actually like Platini’s new rules about a club living within its own resources by 2012, that will even things up a bit, then we add replay and before you know it football is a fair game and bastards like Italy, Ronaldo, Rooney, Eboue, Gerrard, etc are forced to play fairly. Thats the football world I would like to see.

Video replay should be done like in American Football, Basketball or any North American sports, only in the most extreme circumstances. And maybe like American Football, the manager/coach can call for a replay, but only gets 2 calls per game. Maybe?
