Competition: Championship
Market: Reading to win against Queens Park Rangers
Odds: 19/20 @ Coral

Reading host Queens Park Rangers in the Championship on Thursday evening, and are favourites to come out on top given their superior form compared to Rangers’ results on the road. Reading could finish the evening in a playoff place if they can see past The Hoops, and their impressive home form suggests they should come out on top. The Royals have won three and drawn two of their last five games in their own backyard, and should have no problem seeing past a travel-sick QPR side with only one point from their last six away outings.

Queens Park Rangers are still managerless and unable to get a run of results together in the Championship this season. The Londoners have been particularly disappointing away from home with one of the worst returns away from Loftus Road. Rangers are coming off the back of a win in the league, but their form has been considerable better in their own backyard than anywhere else. QPR can only move two places up the table with a win, but it would seal consecutive victories for the first time since August.

Reading have been in and around the playoff places for the majority of the season, but they can’t afford any more disappointing results especially at the Madejski Stadium. Steve Clarke’s side enjoyed a fantastic run between the end of August and mid-October, winning six of seven games played, but Reading have since picked up only one win in their last seven. Losing just once at home all season, the Royals are sure to be hard to beat, and should edge this one against a travel-sick Queens Park Rangers.
